About Us

Our story

Our founder Luis Contreras (Food Industries Engineer) has been working in food processing and agro-industries production since  1994, starting as a Production Engineer in raw processing materials until it becomes agro-industrial products.

2012
He has been working in the Agribusiness sector for a long time
and, this year, had the possibility of doing a master’s degree in Agribusiness Administration at ESAN University, which would allow him to acquire knowledge and skills for the innovation of new business models of the Peruvian Agricultural sector, taking advantage of the agro-industry boom in the country.

2014
Luis Contreras visited Europe, attending international food fairs such as ANUGA in Cologne, Germany,Fruit Attraction in Madrid, Spain and Rungis International Wholesale Market, in Paris, France. On these trips, he verified that Peruvian products competed for their high quality. This experience motivated and led him to work on commercializing Agroindustrial products in Peru.

2015
Working on the market and distributing Stevia, Coffee, Cocoa, Granadilla, and Peaches from small farmers in the Huanuco Region in Peru. In this way, he learned about the Goldenberry crops, considered a superfood, and native products such as Maca, Yacon, Camu-Camu, and Dragon Fruit, which are the most requested in
the international market. From this activity, he led to work.
He negotiated with the farmers of this region, looking for demand for their products and working in coordination to place their production in the local and international markets.

2016 – 2018
Our founder moved to the United States to expand our vision of
the business and attended the “Natural Products Expowest” International Food Fair in Anaheim, California, two years after displaying a wide range of natural and organic products consumed
in the USA. And from then on, for five years, he has worked closely with supermarkets and retail companies in Los Angeles, California, where we were able to see first-hand the need and the rotation of the main Peruvian agro-industrial products sold in greater volume. This accumulation of experience guarantees and allows us to offer the best Peruvian agro-industrial products of excellent quality and to link the Peruvian markets with the American market.

All about Peru

Peru is situated in the western part of South America and shares borders with Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile. It’s enormous territory, covering more than 1.2 million square kilometers, is composed of three regions:
Coast, Highlands and The Amazon

COAST

A large Coast (3080 km) and narrow strip parallel to the Pacific Ocean and occupies an area of 14.9857 km2, with flat geography and low altitude. The landscape is very arid, interrupted by 53 rivers from the Andes Region and forming the fertile coastal valleys. The products produced in these valleys are grapes, asparagus, broccoli, mangoes, oranges, lemons, blueberries, avocados, bananas, and beans.

HIGHLANDS

The Sierra region occupies an area of 364,716 km2. It comprises
a mountainous and rugged area called the Peruvian Andes. In this Geography, highlands and inter-Andean valleys are combined. Potatoes, corn, custard apple, maca, yacon, golden berry, quinoa, and other Andean grains are produced in this area.

Amazon

The Rainforest has an extension of 77,064,248 km2. It is divided into Selva Alta and Selva Baja. Selva Baja Region begins around 3,000 meters above sea level. The highland punas give way to an area with more tropical vegetation, and the mountains are covered with ever-higher forests. The mountainous Geography gives rise to a flat territory called Selva Baja, mostly below 500m altitude. Ginger, Turmeric, Coffee, Cocoa, Camu Camu, and Dragon Fruit are produced in this region.
